Security is reportedly under urgent review in anticipation of Barack Obama's dinner, the Lisbon Lions event and the Scottish Cup final following the Manchester bombing.

Event coordinators have already declared a myriad of events as still being scheduled according to original plans, including the aforementioned Scottish Cup final, Lisbon Lions event and the Obama dinner.

Scotland's security measures are tightening as a result to secure these events hastily.

Security throughout Scotland is also under review across the board as a means to determine the best ways to bolster defenses at these events. This comes in response to a wealth of uncertainty in Britain following the suicide bombing of the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena.

Music icons Eddi Reader, Rod Stewart and the Bay City Rollers are still expected to perform on Thursday at Glasgow's Hydro with guest appearances from several other notable sport names in honor of the Lisbon Lions' 50h anniversary.

An SEC Hydro spokeswoman referred to the bombing as "barbaric" but said there were no plans to cancel any events.

Security at Manchester Arena is also still under similar review, and the spokeswoman said, "We are shocked and saddened following last night's terrible tragedy and barbaric attack on innocent members of the public. Our thoughts and hearts go out to the people of Manchester at this time.

"Our current security operation considers information provided to us by Police Scotland and is scaled appropriately to each event."
